What price will I pay with Flick?

You can check your individual price by entering your address in the address checker above.

Your price with Flick is made up of a number of components, including generation, transmission and distribution, your Flick Fee, and things like the Electricity Authority (EA) levy.

On our Flat plan you will pay a flat kWh rate and a fixed daily charge. With our Off Peak plan you'll pay two separate kWh rates (one for off-peak times and one for peak times), plus a fixed daily charge.

Your transmission/distribution costs depend on your meter set up and where you live.

Not sure on which plan will suit you better? No need to worry – both our plans come with our Flickin' Best Plan Promise. We'll review your power usage every 90 days and we'll be able to tell you if your electricity usage data means that you're on the best Flick plan for your household, or if there's savings to be made by changing to a different Flick plan. Easy!

How do I pay my bill with Flick?

For Weekly billing we'll send your bill each Tuesday and take your payment on Thursday via Direct Debit from your bank account or Credit Card.

For Fortnightly billing we'll send your bill every other Tuesday (on your chosen fortnightly cadence) and take your payment on Thursday that week via Direct Debit from your bank account or Credit Card.

For Monthly billing your bill will be available on the second Monday of each month, and take payment ten days later on the Thursday via Direct Debit from your bank account or Credit Card.

You can choose to pay your exact bill amount, or use our Bill Smoother tool to round your payments up to an amount of your choice. By paying a little more than your normal bill amount, you'll build up a wee stash of cash that you can then use to automatically knock the top off a higher than normal bill.

When will my credit be applied?

Both credits will be applied to each Flick account once the new friend's switch is complete and their Flick account is set up. You'll both receive an email once your credit has been applied to your account.

FYI, the full switching process can take up to 10 days, depending on whether you're switching from a current retailer to us or moving into a new property.
