Choose from weekly, fortnightly or monthly billing and change any time – perfect for lining up your Flick bill with your pay cycle or to work with your weekly budget. (Pro tip: if you're feeling the pinch of high living costs at the moment, weekly billing is a great way to spread out your power bill!).
When to pay
No matter your billing frequency, we send your bill via email on a Tuesday and take payment on a Thursday.
Weekly Billing: We bill you 9 days behind, so you'll always be paying a week and a bit later.
Fortnightly Billing: Like weekly billing – you're billed for the fortnight from 9 days ago. You have the option to choose which fortnight you would like to receive your bill on – how about lining it up with your pay cycle?!
Monthly Billing: We send out your bill on the second Tuesday of the month and take payment the following week on Thursday.
Smooth your bills
Set up a Bill Smoother and keep power bills predictable by rounding up to an amount of your choice, and stash some cash for higher bills at the same time.
When you set up your Bill Smoother, you’ll choose an amount that you’d like to round your power bills up to. When your power bills are lower than your chosen amount, the difference will top up your Bill Smoother credit and, over time, build up a stash of cash that you can put towards any higher-than-usual bills.
Ways to pay your Flick Bill
We offer two easy payment options – either Direct Debit or Credit/Debit card.
For both these payment options, we'll automatically take payment on the Thursday of your billing cycle from a valid payment method. That means there's no admin required when it comes to paying your bill, and no remembering to pay your bill on time. Yippee!
