10 Years of Customers Free Power For a Year and Competition Terms and Conditions

Between 4-27 June 2024 (the “Competition Period”) Flick Electric is running a competition offering customers who have an active account with Flick the chance to win either one prize of one year’s worth of power credit (referred to as ‘Free Power Competition’), or win one of fifty prizes of NZ$200 power credits (referred to as ‘Prize Credit’), where 12 prizes will be drawn each week for the first three weeks and 14 prizes will be drawn on the fourth and final week of the competition period. This ‘Free Power Competition’ and ‘Prize Credit’ will be open to Eligible Entrants at time and date advertised and will end at 5pm on the end date advertised. Entry into the Free Power Competition or Prize Credit implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entry into the ‘Free Power Competition’ and ‘Prize Credit’ is limited to ‘Eligible Entrant(s)’. Eligible Entrant(s) are defined as residential Flick Customers who have a current Flick Electric account and who are over the age of 18 and passed the credit check, as at 11.59pm on 27 June. They also must have fulfilled the entry requirements as outlined in clause 4.
Flick Electric employees, Z Energy Employees, contractors, or any other Flick personnel or their immediate families, will not be eligible to enter or win the Free Power Competition or Prize Credit.
Entry into the ‘Free Power Competition’ and ‘Prize Credit’ is completed by commenting on the Flick Electric Facebook or Instagram competition Post(s), or filling out the online form which can be found on the Flick Electric website, within the campaign timeframe(s) as advertised. Eligible Entrants are eligible for one entry only into each of the “Free Power Competition” and “Prize Credit” competition.
If the winning Eligible Entrant ceases to hold an active Flick Electric account at the time the prize(s) are drawn (‘Prize’ referred to the winning $2,500 credit of the Free Power Competition or $200 credit of the Prize Credit) or before they have used some or all the Prize, the remaining Prize credit will be forfeited. No remaining credit at the time the winning Entrant leaves Flick Electric will be paid to the winning Entrant.
The Free Power Competition gives Eligible Entrants the chance to go in the draw to win a year’s worth of power valued at NZ$2,500. The following applies to the ‘Free Power Competition’:
a. Flick Electric has calculated and capped one year’s worth of power as $2,500 NZD (based on Flick’s average pricing and customer usage of 800kWh per year for a Low User).
b. The winning Eligible Entrant will have NZ$2,500 applied to their Flick Electric account or their Bill Smoother account within 30 days of being notified as the winner of the Free Power Competition.
c. The winning Eligible Entrant will continue to receive bills throughout the term of the Prize, with a credit to the value of each bill generated applied from the NZ$2,500 credit Prize, thereby displaying a zero balance, until it runs out.
d. If at the time of the prize draw, the winning Eligible Entrant is in the debt cycle, they will be deemed ineligible and a new winning Eligible Entrant will be drawn.
e. The NZ$2,500 “Free Power Competition” prize is non-redeemable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable for other services, prizes, cash, or any other benefit.
f. Flick will announce the winning Eligible Entrant within 7 days of the prize draw through Flick’s promotional channels with the winner’s first name, last initial and location.The ‘Prize Credit’ gives Eligible Entrants the chance to go in a weekly prize draw to win NZ$200 credit (‘Weekly Prize Credit’) which applies the winning Entrant NZ$200 to their Flick account. For the ‘Weekly Prize Credit’, the following applies:
a. Flick will draw 12 Eligible Entrants as winners during the first three weeks and 14 Eligible Entrants as winners on the fourth and final week during the competition period between 4 - 27 June 2024.
b. Flick will announce the winning EligibleEntrants within 7 days of the prize draw through Flick’s promotional channels with the winner’s first name, last initial and location.
c. Once an Eligible Entrant is in the draw, it will remain there for the duration of the promotion unless they are picked as a winning Eligible Entrant, whereby they will no longer be an Eligible Entrant in any remaining Prize Credits prize draws
d.If at the time of the prize draw, the winning Eligible Entrant is in the debt cycle, they will be deemed ineligible and a new winning Eligible Entrant will be drawn.
d. Each Prize Credit is applied to the winning Eligible Entrants Flick Electric account within 30 days of the Competition end date.The winning Eligible Entrant(s) for both the Free Power Competition and the Prize Credit will be selected using a random number generated by a unique identifier (‘Random Generator’). Flick Electric will contact the winning Eligible Entrant(s) by phone, email or Meta direct message. If any of the winning Eligible Entrants do not respond to our communications and confirm their Flick Electric account number to accept the Prize within 7 business days of notification, Flick Electric reserves the right in its sole discretion, to either award the Prize to another Eligible Entrant using the Random Generator, or not offer the Prize at all.
Flick Electric reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Free Power Competition or Prize Credit without notice and it will be at Flick Electric’s sole discretion and Flick Electric’s decision will be final.
Eligible Entrants agree that by entering into this Free Power Competition or Prize Credit they are providing their full consent to Flick Electric to use their first name, last initial, location or image or likeness for Flick Electric’s promotional, internal and external advertising purposes, concerning these competitions. Flick Electric will not be required to provide any payment or other compensation in any form to the winning Entrant(s).
If the winning Eligible Entrant moves house and takes Flick with them to their new property, then the winning Power Credit is transferred to the winning Eligible Entrant’s new property account.
These ‘10 Years of Customers Free Power For a Year and Competition Terms and Conditions’ apply in addition to the General Flick Electric Terms and Conditions.
